The No. 8 flash bulb, sometimes also known as the Bantam 8, is a class M bulb with standard 20ms time to peak and a brightness of approximately 700,000 lumens. They were commonly used on simple, fixed focus cameras to help freeze action since the bulb's duration equated to a 1/75th of a second shutter speed. But their standard delay-to-peak timing allowed them to be used with leaf shutter lenses in both professional and amateur work alike.
This is a clear bulb with a warmer color temperature of approximately 3800° K and is best suited for black and white film.
This listing is for a single no. 8 bayonet style flash bulb.
